Thank you to everyone who voted for me. My life as a jeweller has been a wonderful journey, so far. Learning from not one but two professional jewellers, husband and wife team, Al and Jess in Dorset, was a joy. I’ve built up a skill set which I’m proud of; having a base of traditional silversmithing skills, coupled with a desire and passion do things differently. I’ve recently made the leap from pupil to confident small business owner, building my own brand, Silver Nutshell Jewellery, and creating engaging and entertaining marketing channels. It’s a passion that drives me every day to be a better jeweller and small business owner.
I’m a nature jeweller so I love getting outdoors because that’s where I feel inspired to create. I cast leaves, seashells, botanicals and fossilised shells to make beautiful sterling silver jewellery. I also love sharing what I’ve learnt each day with the jeweller community. Whether that’s a walk in the woods, a photoshoot on the beach, behind the scenes in my studio or some top tips, it’s my jewellery experiences in a Nutshell.
Winning the Muddy Stilettos award for BEST JEWELLER in my region means the world to me. I know that sounds like a cliche, but it’s true. We all want some affirmation that we’re on the right track and knowing that not only my customers love my jewellery but my followers and friends love what I do so much to vote for me – that’s very humbling.
I’ve always believed that life is about connections. I make new connections every day, especially on instagram and it’s a place where I post about my life as a nature jeweller. I know that winning this award will create new opportunities for me and I can’t wait to collaborate, connect and make new memories to share with you.
If you’d like to collaborate, please get in touch either using the contact form on here or DM me on Instagram. I look forward to hearing from you.
